This is a fully functional department with facilities for advanced trauma management, joint replacement arthroplasty, Arthroscopic surgery and limb salvage surgery. The emergency unit consists of a receiving area, minor operation theatre and a 12-bed room with all monitoring facilities for polytrauma patients. The unit has a tertiary level trauma Center with all-critical care facilities. The ambulance is equipped with ventilator and monitoring facilities and has paramedical personnel trained in emergency management. The joint replacement unit performs total and partial hip replacements, knee replacements and shoulder arthroplasty, on a regular basis. All the theaters have laminar air flow system.

He is the Sr. Consultant Orthopedic surgeon. He headed one of the oldest Trauma centers in the private sector in Kerala. He was also in charge of the joint replacement center. He was the past president of the Kerala Orthopedic Association and the Trauma Life Support Society of India.
