The department offers international standard in pediatric care by doctors trained abroad for many years and also with long experience in Kerala. Our special emphasis is on avoiding unnecessary medicines and preserving minimum medicines, which are absolutely necessary and appropriate for a particular disease.

We can take care of children with simple problems to very complex diseases. Processes like long standing undiagnosed Fevers, Autoimmune diseases, Blood borne diseases, Malignancies, Endocrine problems, growth problems, pubertal problems, Asthma and other chest problems, Bowel problems like constipation, long standing diseases, heart diseases, brain diseases and also intensive care of pediatric patients. Children  are cared by trained intensive staff and a team management by appropriate specialists and consultants from different specialties co-operating with the pediatricians are emphasized.

There are consultants pediatrician specially trained to treat all extreme premature and low birth weight babies with any kind of problems. Breast feeding support and proper weaning advice and follow up of growth development of babies is done for all.
