Rheumatoid Arthritis is a disease, which affects small and large joints of the body with systemic effects. If not detected early and treated appropriately with disease modifying drugs, the disease can progress causing considerable joint destruction and suffering to the patient. Various disease-modifying drugs are presently available which gives excellent results. These drugs should be used under close medical supervision by doctors experienced in this field.  

Systemic Lupus Erythematisus (SLE) is a multi system connective tissue disease, which involves joints, skin, kidney, brain, heart, lung etc. This disease is more common in women compared to men (8:1). If the disease is diagnosed early and treated by doctors experienced in the field the disease can be kept under good control. Late diagnosis and improper management leads to disastrous outcome.
